A. Each County entity shall give notice of vacant board member positions when positions become vacant due to the death, incapacity, or resignation of any board member or when positions become vacant due to an expiring term. (Ord. O-2016-14, 12-12-2016)
B. For elected positions the notice shall be delivered to the Kane County Clerk in accordance with State election laws. For appointed positions the notice shall be delivered to the Kane County Commission or its designee as soon as practicable for midterm vacancies, or at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the term.
