Excavations through gravel or dirt surfaced area, such as gravel and dirt roads and shoulders and unpaved driveways, shall have the gravel or dirt restored and maintained as described in part 6-2-7 of this part, except that the gravel shall be a minimum of one inch more than the thickness of the existing gravel.
