The county procures a wide variety of goods and services at varying intervals in support of the many departments and programs administered by county. The following categories of purchases will be utilized in recognition that a single process for all procurements would not be an efficient or effective policy for the county:
A. Basic supplies and equipment.
B. Operational services.
C. Capital expense equipment.
D. Professional services.
E. Pass-through services.
F. Architect-engineer services.
G. Construction and repair contracts.
H. Sole source provider.
I. Fleet management purchases.
