All water systems which receive their source of water from ponds, lakes, streams, rivers, or other surface collectors of water shall be designed, constructed, and operated in accordance with the "surface water treatment code". No surface water shall be utilized as a potable water supply unless the health officer has reviewed and approved the supply and its components. (Ord. 04-199, 5-11-2004)
