A. Any person violating section 3.75-1 of this chapter shall be sentenced to performing not less than ten (10) community service hours for a first offense, not less than twenty five (25) community service hours for a second offense or more than fifty (50) community service hours for each offense thereafter.
B. Any person violating section 3.75-2 or 3.75-3 of this chapter may be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) for a first offense, not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for a second offense or more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense thereafter. In addition to or in lieu of the penalties set forth hereinabove, the parent of a truant person and/or the truant may be required to participate in a "parenting" or other truancy oriented program, a list of which available programs will be maintained by the county.
