§ 33.008 THE INTEREST OF ALL AFFECTED ENTITIES.
   (A)   The county. The county’s policy has been that municipal type development should take place in cities. All of the land shown in the annexation policy area would be able to be served by the town.
   (B)   BLM - Bureau of Land Management.
      (1)   Several of the annexations proposed in the annexation policy area are adjacent to BLM lands.
      (2)   It is anticipated that the development of these lands would be compatible with the BLM land in preserving open space and not having a negative impact on the BLM land.
      (3)   It is anticipated that the area in the mouth of the canyons will remain as a water shed and recreational area in the county and under the county jurisdiction.
   (C)   The county school district. The county school district is involved in the boundaries of the annexation area and it is anticipated that the county school district will provide school service to the area.
   (D)   The county landfill and garbage collection. Provides landfill service and garbage collection for the whole county. District facilities have been sized to accommodate the growth of all cities.
   (E)   Central county water conservancy district. Addresses issues of water shed protection and water resource development. The district requires detention facilities so that run-off does not exceed historic flows.
   (F)   School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA). Owns and controls property near areas anticipated for annexation. It is anticipated that the development of these lands would be compatible with the surrounding land uses and take into consideration the preservation of open space that would not have a negative impact on SITLA lands. SITLA lands are not considered open space.
