The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

MSDGC: The metropolitan sanitary district of greater Chicago.

OM&R: Operation and maintenance plus replacement.

Sanitary Sewer: A sewer or drain for the drainage of water closets, sinks, laundry tubs, bathtubs and similar fixtures.

Storm Water Sewer: A sewer or drain for the drainage of roofs, lands, foundations and surface water.
