Every driver shall maintain a daily manifest upon which are recorded all trips made each day, showing the time and place of origin, the destination of each trip and the amount of fare. All completed manifests shall be returned to the owner by the driver at the conclusion of the driver’s tour of duty. All manifests shall be available to the City Clerk and the Police Department. Every holder of a license shall retain and preserve all drivers’ manifests in a safe place for at least the calendar year next proceeding the current calendar year.
