A public tree nuisance shall be abated by spraying, removing, burning, or otherwise effectively treating the infected tree or wood to prevent spread of shade tree disease. The abatement procedures shall be carried out in accordance with current technical and expert methods and plans as may be designed by the Commissioner of Agriculture of the State of Minnesota.
