(A) The building contractor(s) or owner shall notify the Building Department of the name and address of the mechanical contractor(s) doing work for each building and the contractor(s) shall be held responsible for observance of this section.
(B) In cases where the building contractor or owner fails to supply the Building Department with the names and addresses of those doing the mechanical work, the builder and/or owner shall be responsible for the proper installation of the work.
