§ 117.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COMMERCIAL KENNEL. Any place, building, tract of land, abode or vehicle, wherein or whereon 3 or more dogs or cats, or combination, over 6 months of age, are kept, kept for sale, or boarded. A COMMERCIAL KENNEL houses pets for limited periods of time in exchange for a fee.
   PRIVATE KENNEL. Houses only pets owned by the property owner or resident.
   PRIVATE STABLE. Any stable used exclusively to keep horses, mules or donkeys for the private use of the owners and their immediate family, where no compensation is paid or barter exchanged for animal care, training or breeding.
   PUBLIC STABLE. Any stable used to keep horses, mules or donkeys for the use of the general public where compensation is paid or barter exchanged for animal care, training or breeding.
   STABLE. Any place, building, tract of land, abode or vehicle, wherein or whereon 1 or more horses, mules or donkeys are kept, kept for sale or boarded.
