§ 154.283 DISTRICT APPLICATION.
   The Shoreland Overlay District shall be an overlay district and shall be superimposed on all zoning classifications in the designated overlay area. The "Shoreland Overlay District" shall correspond to any/all shorelands of the public water bodies and water courses as classified in this chapter. The standards contained in the Shoreland Overlay District shall be in addition to any other requirements set forth in this chapter. If the district standards are conflicting, the more restrictive standards shall apply. The boundaries of the Shoreland Overlay District are defined as follows:
   (A)   One thousand feet from the ordinary high water level of the classified lakes as listed in § 154.284.
   (B)   Three hundred feet from the ordinary high water level or the landward extent of a floodplain designated by ordinance (whichever is greater) of the classified rivers and streams as listed in § 154.284.
   (C)   No lake, pond, or flowage less than 10 acres in size in the city or 25 acres in size in unincorporated areas need be subject to Shoreland Overlay District standards.
   (D)   A body of water created by a private user where there was no previous shoreland may, at the city's discretion, be exempt from this chapter.
