The location and boundaries of the districts within the city are set forth on the official zoning map (hereinafter "the map") which is hereby incorporated as part of this subchapter, a copy of which is on file with the city.
(A) Boundary lines.
(1) District boundary lines as indicated on the map follow lot lines, right-of-way, or centerlines of streets or alleys, projected streets or alleys, railroad right-of-way lines, and the city corporate limit lines. If said boundary lines do not follow any of the above, they are established as drawn on the map.
(2) The boundary for the floodway and flood fringe overlay districts has been taken from the Jordan Flood Insurance Study prepared by the Federal Insurance Administration.
(3) Where there appears to be a conflict between a mapped boundary and actual field conditions, the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals shall review the necessary interpretation based on elevations on the regional 100-year flood profile.
(B) Annexed land. If land is annexed by the city, the Council shall take appropriate action to designate the zoning district for the parcel(s) annexed at the time of annexation.
