The zoning districts are designed to assist in carrying out the intent and purpose of the comprehensive plan which is to protect the public health, safety, convenience, and general welfare. For the purpose of this subchapter, the city is divided into the following districts:

R-l Single-Family Residential District
R-2 Single- and Two-Family Residential District
R-3 Townhouse and Multiple-Family Residential District
R-4 Multiple Family Residential District
R-5 Manufactured Home District
C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District
C-2 Central Business District
C-3 Highway Commercial District
I-1 Light Industrial District
I-2 General Industrial District
CD Conservancy District
PUD Planned Unit Development District
PRD Planned Residential District
PCD Planned Commercial District
PID Planned Industrial District
PMD Planned Mixed-Use District
