9-2-5: INSPECTION OF WORK; FEE:
   A.   Requirement: It is the duty of the town engineer or any competent person authorized by him, to inspect, check, test or measure any or all work on improvements so approved by the trustees at any or all times during the work of construction. If the engineer discovers that the same is not in compliance with the approved plans, then the engineer shall order the work discontinued until full compliance with the plans is made. (1984 Code § 14-207)
   B.   Inspection Fees: An inspection fee in such sum as set by the town board shall be paid by every person, firm or corporation, making such improvement. The inspection fee hereby assessed shall be deposited with the town clerk at the time the plans are submitted for inspection and approval. (1984 Code § 14-209; amd. 2002 Code)
