§ 30.35 REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION.
   (A)   A new department to be known and designated as the Redevelopment Commission is hereby created and established with full power and authority to act as provided pursuant to I.C. 36-7-14.
   (B)   The Mayor and the Common Council are hereby authorized and empowered to create by appointment five commissioners for the Redevelopment Commission as prescribed in I.C. 36-7-14-6.1 for the purpose of such commissioners being empowered to do all things necessary for the promotion of the business and activities of said Redevelopment Commission. In addition, the Mayor shall appoint an advisory nonvoting member. Such member shall be a current Board Member of the Mississinewa Community School Corporation as provided in I.C. 36-7-14-6.1.
   (C)   (1)   Meetings. Meetings shall be held quarterly after the Common Council meeting (first month of the quarter).
      (2)   Duties. The duties of the Redevelopment Commission are established by the Indiana General Assembly and detailed in the Indiana Code.
