The city shall adopt the County Abandoned Vehicles ordinance as written with the following noted exceptions.
(A) The city has a contract with Page’s Towing for towing services, the city officers and/or Code Enforcement shall work with Page’s Towing on all reporting of vehicles or parts being reported to State Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
(B) The following shall be included under § 94.22, the Police Department, and/or code enforcement officers.
(C) Any city police officers or code enforcement officer who writes a citation needs to follow up on action or inform the Police Chief of such action and all city officers shall follow the county ordinance with exceptions as written.
(D) Penalties shall reflect the county ordinance, except city police officers or City Code Enforcement shall send penalties through the City Ordinance Violation Bureau handled by the Clerk-Treasurer who shall set up established accounts.
(E) City officers (Police Chief or Captain or Code Enforcement) may, as needed, call the County Area Plan Commission and others in helping and assisting the city or such may take necessary action.
