(A) The Common Council grants the Board of Public Works and Safety all powers to install signs and markings through the Street Department shall cause to be placed and maintained official signs and marking where no parking points are necessary and practicable for the purpose of regulating said restrictions upon various areas under the city’s jurisdiction for the purpose of regulating the parking of various types of vehicles under the general guidance as provided by MUTCD and the Mayor and the Chief of Police may order no parking in various areas due to any type of emergency within the city or a city’s daily function and during special city approved activity.
(B) Referring herein, the reference to TRUCK, TRACTOR, TRACTOR TRAILER, TRAILER BODY, MOBILE HOME, HOUSE TRAILER, CAMPER TRAILER, BUS or any similar vehicle or equipment means vehicles or equipment having an overall length in excess of 20 feet of a height or more than nine feet.
