HOME RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF JOHNSTOWN

EDITOR'S NOTES: This Home Rule Charter of the City of Johnstown was adopted by the voters of the City on May 18, 1993, and became effective on January 1, 1994.

To distinguish this Charter from the Original Charter adopted in 1889, this Charter shall be referred to throughout these Codified Ordinances as the "Home Rule Charter of the City of Johnstown, Pennsylvania," or just the "Home Rule Charter," and the other shall be referred to as the "Original Charter of the City of Johnstown, Pennsylvania" or just the "Original Charter."
