The starting salary of the City Treasurer shall be $40,000 per year from May 2021. If City Treasurer is returning from previous term, starting salary shall be $45,000 per year. The position of City Treasurer will be eligible for a raise based on the SSA COLA (social security cost of living adjustment), or 2% increase, whichever is higher, per every year of their term.

Editor’s note:
The salaries of elected officials who hold elective office for a definite term shall neither be increased nor diminished during that term and shall be fixed at least 180 days before to a general municipal election in which voting is held for those offices.
