§ 153.092 EMERGENCY ACTION.
   (A)   Whenever an officer finds that an emergency exists on any premises, or in any structure or part thereof, or on any defective equipment which requires immediate action to protect the public’s health and safety or the health and safety of the occupants therein, the officer shall, with proper notice and service in accordance with the provisions stated herein, issue an order reciting the existence of such an emergency and requiring the vacating of the premises or such action taken as the Code Enforcement officer deems necessary to meet such an emergency.
   (B)   Notwithstanding other provisions of this code to the contrary, such order shall be effective immediately and the premises or equipment involved shall be posted immediately upon service of the order. A copy of that order shall be delivered to the Mayor and members of the City Council immediately after it is issued.
