§ 31.137 TREASURER ELECTED; VACANCY.
   The Treasurer shall be elected at the same election as the Mayor for a four-year term and shall serve until a successor is elected and has qualified. If a vacancy occurs in the office, it shall be filled by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. The person so appointed shall hold office for the unexpired term of the officer elected.
