§ 111.056 GAMBLING.
   Provided that nothing contained in this section or any other section of this code shall be construed to prohibit any gambling device or scheme that is lawful and operated under the statutes of the state, it is unlawful to keep, place, maintain or operate any other gambling device or instrument in and upon the premises used or occupied as a place where alcoholic liquor is sold or given away. It shall be unlawful for any licensee, or his or her agent and/or employee, to give or award a cash prize or equivalent to any person playing any devices or machines defined as a coin-operated amusement device pursuant to § 110.080, except as authorized by state statute.
