§ 111.040 ALLOWED OPERATING HOURS FOR ALL LICENSES.
    The allowed operating hours for all licenses defined in this section are permissive and are not mandatory. Any licensee may operate during the allowed operating hours but are not required to do so. Actual hours of operation of a licensee may not be outside the allowed operating hours prescribed by this section.
   (A)   Allowed operating hours for all licensees having a license classification as Class A shall be as follows. It shall be unlawful for any Class A licensee to give or sell or offer for sale or gift or in any way provide alcoholic liquor, spirits, beer, or wine except during the following hours:
 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. midnight
Friday and Saturday
From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Sunday
From 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
*With the exception of New Year’s Eve, in which the hours are: from 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve to 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
 
   (B)   Allowed operating hours for all licensees having a license classification as Class B shall be as follows. It shall be unlawful for any Class B licensee to give or sell or offer for sale or gift or in any way provide alcoholic liquor, spirits, beer, or wine except during the following hours:
 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. midnight
Sunday
From 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
*With the exception of New Year’s Eve, in which the hours are: from 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve to 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
 
   (C)   Allowed operating hours for all licensees having a license classification as Class C shall be as follows. It shall be unlawful for any Class C licensee to give or sell or offer for sale or gift or in any way provide alcoholic liquor, spirits, beer, or wine except during the following hours:
 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
*With the exception of New Year’s Eve, in which the hours are: from 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve to 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
 
   (D)   Allowed operating hours for all licensees having a license classification as Class D shall be as follows. It shall be unlawful for any Class D licensee to give or sell or offer for sale or gift or in any way provide alcoholic liquor, spirits, beer, or wine except during the following hours:
 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. midnight
*With the exception of New Year’s Eve, in which the hours are: from 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve to 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
 
   (E)   Allowed operating hours for all licensees having a license classification as Class E shall be as follows. It shall be unlawful for any Class E licensee to give or sell or offer for sale or gift or in any way provide alcoholic liquor, spirits, beer, or wine except during the following hours:
 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. midnight
Friday and Saturday
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. midnight
Sunday
From 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
*With the exception of New Year’s Eve, in which the hours are: from 8:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve to 1:00 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
 
   (F)   All patrons or customers shall leave the premises at the specified closing time and shall not remain on the premises thereafter.
   (G)   The times referred to above shall refer to Daylight Savings Time, or when the same is an effect in the city, and upon cessation of Daylight Savings Time, the times shall refer to Central Standard Time.
   (H)   In case of restaurants, hotels and convenience stores, or similar businesses, such establishments may be kept open in addition such hours set forth herein above, but no alcoholic liquor may be sold to or consumed by the public or employees during such hours.
