The regular stated meetings of the City Council shall be held in the City Hall Building on the second and fourth Tuesdays in each month at 6:00 p.m. When said meeting date falls upon a legal holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next secular day at the same hour unless otherwise provided by the City Council. Adjourned meetings may be held at such times as may be determined by the Council. Public notice of regular meetings shall be given in accordance with the Meetings of Public Agencies Act of the state, 5 ILCS 120/1 through 120/5.
