(A) Established. There is hereby established “gross load limit” on certain city streets. The term “gross load limit” shall mean the total weight of a vehicle and the load it is carrying. The specified streets and the load limits are hereby listed in the motor vehicle schedules at the end of this title. See Ch. 78, Schd. VII.
(B) Exceptions. This title shall not include a vehicle making actual deliveries to customers or pickup trucks, trucks operated by the city maintenance and repairs on the street, trash collection vehicles, school busses or the operation of a vehicle owned by the United States government or state while on lawful business of these agencies.
