The words and phrases used in this title shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them as passed, approved, and amended by the Illinois State General Assembly in the Illinois Vehicle Code, 625 ILCS 5/1 et seq., except when the context otherwise requires, and except where another definition set forth in another section of this title and applicable to that section or a designated part thereof is applicable.
