All employees of the city who are scheduled to work by their respective department supervisors the following recognized holidays shall be entitled to be paid double the employee’s regular hourly rate: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
