Personnel hereafter employed by the city may reside within a radius of ten miles of the existing corporate limits of the city or reside within the geographic boundaries of the county. This provision may be waived by the City Council for good and sufficient reason when not in conflict with the statutes of the state. Personnel shall maintain an up-to-date record of the employee’s address on file with the City Clerk.
