The City of Wilmore has the exclusive authority to engage in the business of collecting and transporting solid waste generated within the boundaries of the city. No person, corporation, or a combination thereof shall be permitted to engage in the collection or transportation of solid waste generated within the annexed limits of the City of Wilmore, except those engaged in providing service to facilities of the Jessamine County School System, or those who have specific authorization from the city ( such as “rolloff vendors,” “compactor” vendors).
