§ 31.35 COMPLIANCE REVIEW REQUIREMENT.
   (A)   No access (including streets or roads) within the county shall be assigned a name or number on a subdivision plat or otherwise until the name is registered with, reviewed for compliance and authorized by the E-911 Director. The names and numbers would then be added to the county Enhanced-911 access index. The Emergency Services Executive Director, or his or her duly authorized agent, the E-911 Project Manager shall have the authority to refuse registration of any access name or number already in use, confusingly similar to a name and number already registered, or deemed confusing for purposes of emergency response.
   (B)   No access name or number currently shown on a subdivision plat with the county or otherwise shall be implemented by a subdivision owner until the name has been registered with the Jessamine County-City of Whitmore Planning Commission within its jurisdiction, reviewed and authorized by the E-911 Project Manager, and added to the county road Enhanced-911 access index; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to any access, including roads or streets presently constructed, on which street signs have been placed prior to the effective date of this subchapter.
