The Planning Commission, in considering an application for the subdivision of land, shall be guided by the policy consideration specified in § 153.004 of this chapter and the following general requirements and principles of designing subdivisions. Two options for residential development in rural Jessamine County exist: development of traditional lots of 5 acres or more, or development of smaller, clustered lots with a provision for open space preservation.
