For purposes of this chapter, the enumerated specific terms and words shall be used and interpreted as defined hereafter and in KRS Chapter 100, unless the context otherwise requires.
(A) The use of the present tense shall be interpreted to include the future.
(B) The word
PERSON includes a firm, association, organization, partnership, trust, company, corporation or any other entity of any kind whatsoever as well as an individual.
(C) The word
SHALL is mandatory requirement, the word MAY is permissive requirement, and the word SHOULD is a preferred requirement.
(D) The word
STRUCTURE is to include but is not limited solely to the word BUILDING and structure, and includes any part thereof.
