(A) The Jessamine County Judge/Executive is authorized and empowered on behalf of the county to enter into agreements for the purchase and installment of E-911 equipment necessary to implement and utilize the E-911 service contemplated by this chapter.
(B) The County Judge/Executive, subject to the approval of the County Fiscal Court, is further authorized to enter into local cooperation agreements as is necessary and appropriate with other agencies or entities to create and provide E-911 emergency services to the community.
