For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS. The Board of Adjustments of the Jessamine County-City of Wilmore Planning Commission.
COUNTY AUTHORITY. Any housing authority or any officer who is in charge of any department or branch of the government of the county relating to health, fire or building regulations, or to other activities concerning structures in the county.
COUNTY OFFICER. The officer or officers who are authorized by ordinances and resolutions adopted hereunder to exercise the powers prescribed by those ordinances and resolutions.
GOVERNING BODY. The Fiscal Court of Jessamine County, Kentucky.
OWNER. The holder of the title in fee simple and every mortgagee of record.
PARTIES IN INTEREST. All others who have interests of record in a structure or who may be in possession thereof.
STRUCTURE. Any building or part thereof used or occupied, or intended for use or occupancy, for human habitation or commercial or industrial purposes, and includes any outbuildings and appurtenances belonging thereto or usually enjoyed therewith.
