(A) (1) The Kentucky Building Code, as promulgated in 815 KAR 7:070 through 7:125 by the Board of Housing, Buildings and Construction, Commonwealth of Kentucky, is hereby adopted in full as an ordinance of Jessamine County of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as if set out at length herein.
(2) A copy of the Kentucky Building Code, together with a copy of all other regulations or NFPA pamphlets adopted or referred to thereunder, is on file in the office of the Jessamine County Clerk, and the County Clerk shall at all times keep a copy of the Building Code for reference.
(B) The Jessamine County-City of Wilmore Planning and Zoning Office shall be designated as the local enforcement agency for the Kentucky Building Code.
(C) The application of the Kentucky Building Code is hereby extended to all single-family dwellings to be constructed in the county.
(D) This section shall take effect on February 7, 2012.
