The following actions are recognized as fraud:
(A) Any dishonest or fraudulent act as defined by state statute;
(B) Misappropriation of funds, securities, supplies or other public assets;
(C) Impropriety in the handling or reporting of money or financial transactions;
(D) Profiteering as a result of insider knowledge of county government activities;
(E) Disclosing confidential or proprietary information to outside parties;
(F) Disclosing to other persons security activities engaged in or contemplated by the county government;
(G) Destruction, removal or inappropriate use of records, furniture, fixtures, or equipment through public origin funds; and
(H) As stated earlier, single purchases or contracts of any amount shall not be broken down to amounts less than the limits of their respective section in an attempt to circumvent the objective of this policy.
