(A) The County Board Chairperson is hereby authorized to enter into intergovernmental agreements with any municipality which desires to have these or any successor regulations enforced within that municipality.
(B) (1) The City of Jerseyville hereby authorizes the county to enforce this chapter as adopted or as amended in the future within the limits of the City of Jerseyville.
(2) The county hereby agrees to enforce said chapter within the city limits of Jerseyville pursuant to the city’s stated authorization.
(3) Either party may terminate this agreement for any reason by giving the other 30 days’ written notice.
(4) Nothing herein shall prevent the City of Jerseyville from adopting its own raffle ordinance at any time, the adoption of which shall automatically terminate this agreement.
