(A) It shall be unlawful for the driver of a motor vehicle to accelerate such vehicle in a manner which is careless or excessive and shall be defined as follows;
(1) Causing tires to break traction, thus emitting a squealing noise;
(2) Causing the rear of such vehicle to slide on the pavement in a side to side motion;
(3) Accelerating such vehicle into tailgating position behind another vehicle; and
(4) Accelerating such vehicle in a manner which causes the front of the vehicle to bounce thus reducing the driver’s control of the vehicle.
(B) This section shall in no way apply to acceleration necessary to prevent or avoid a collision with another motor vehicle or pedestrian.
