(A) For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(B) Except as stated in this chapter, and unless a different meaning of a word or term is clear from the context, the definition of words or terms used in this chapter shall be the same as those used in the Act and the Illinois Groundwater Protection Act.
ACT. The Environmental Protection Act, 415 ILCS 5/1.
AGENCY. The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
APPENDIX A. The map which is adopted and incorporated as a part of this chapter which established overlay areas in addition to other ordinances of the county in which uses may be additionally restricted by this chapter.
MAXIMUM SETBACK AREA. The area around a community water supply well, including any minimum setback area, established under 415 ILCS 5/14.3 of the Act and this chapter, and described in Appendix A.
MINIMUM SETBACK AREA. The area around a community water supply well established under 415 ILCS 5/14.1 through 14.2 of the Act and this chapter, and described in Appendix A.
PRIMARY, SECONDARY AND ROUTE SOURCES. Those new potential uses and activities identified and listed by the local government, Illinois Pollution Control Board or the Agency and hereby incorporated by reference in Appendix B.
(C) The references to the Environmental Protection Act, the Illinois Groundwater Protection Act or other statutes of the state includes their present form, and as hereinafter amended.
