§ 36.127 MINOR OFFENSES DEFINED.
   The following are considered minor offenses within the county limits:
   (A)   Possession of cannabis. Possessing less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis;
   (B)   Drug; paraphernalia. Possessing any item used to ingest drugs;
   (C)   Consumption/possession of alcohol by a minor. Any person under the age of 21 is prohibited from consuming or possessing alcohol;
   (D)   Illegal transportation of alcohol. It is prohibited to transport open alcohol in a motor vehicle;
   (E)   Disorderly conduct. It is prohibited to act in a manner that alarms and disturbs another;
   (F)   Intoxicated pedestrian. It is unlawful to walk in a public place while intoxicated;
   (G)   Deceptive practice. It is unlawful to write a check with the knowledge that there are insufficient funds to cover said check;
   (H)   Curfew violations. It is unlawful for a person under the age of 17 to be in public after the hours of 11:00 p.m.; and
   (I)   Failure to possess valid insurance card. It is unlawful to fail to carry a valid insurance card in a motor vehicle.
