(A) Effective November 1, 2017:
(1) A fee of $10 will be assessed in the form of additional court costs to convictions under 720 ILCS 570/401 Manufacture or Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, a Controlled Substance, Counterfeit Substance or Controlled Substance Analog; and
(2) A fee of $10 for each individual convicted or placed on court supervision for driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drug or drugs, intoxicating compounds or any combination thereof under 625 ILCS 5/11-501.
(B) The monies will be deposited in the County General Fund. The County Treasurer will distribute monies collected pursuant to the agreed upon method of the administrator for the Substance Abuse Prevention Services (SAPS).
