An applicant denied a siting permit may appeal the decision of the building official to the city planning and zoning commission by filing a written notice of appeal with the city clerk within ten (10) days of the receipt of the denial of the siting permit by the building official. The writing must specify the decision appealed from and state every reason for which the applicant believes the denial of the permit to have been in error. The appeal shall be heard by the planning and zoning commission utilizing the procedures found in section 17.48.080 of this code. The decision of the planning and zoning commission on appeal may be appealed further to the city council under the procedures found in section 17.48.080 of this code. (Ord. 805 §3, 1996)
