Every owner, tenant or occupant of a building, structure or other real or personal property upon which graffiti is placed must, within five (5) days of written notice from the police department, remove or obliterate graffiti placed on that property so as to make it indistinguishable as a message, code, depiction or marking. If not removed, the obliteration of the graffiti shall be made with material of a similar color to the material on which the graffiti has been placed. A violation of the terms of this section shall be deemed a misdemeanor. (Ord. 790 §5, 1995)
