A. The proprietor of any commercial or industrial establishment within the city limits may apply to the clerk of the city for a permit to haul garbage and rubbish as defined by this title from their place of business. Any such person desiring the issuance of a permit shall make application for the same, which should contain at a minimum the following information:
1. Name and address of proprietor;
2. Type of vehicle to be used for hauling of garbage and rubbish;
3. Affirmation that the applicant has read relevant portions of this code establishing requirements for garbage and rubbish receptacles, placement and removal of the same, and an expression of the willingness of the applicant to abide by all such regulations existing at the present time or as they may hereafter be amended;
4. An expression by the applicant that all garbage and refuse collected on the premises required by this chapter shall be removed therefrom to an appropriate sanitary landfill at least weekly.
B. All applications shall be accompanied by a five dollar ($5.00) application fee. Every proprietor obtaining such a permit shall be required to renew the same annually on anniversary of their issuance dates thereof and to pay a five dollar ($5.00) renewal permit fee per year. (Ord. 658 §1, 1982)
