§ 34.09  ALLOWING CERTAIN COUNTY OFFICIALS TO CARRY DOG REPELLANT SPRAY.
   (A)   The Board of Commissioners hereby permits certain county employees as defined by the Board to purchase and carry with them for their own safety dog repellent spray.
   (B)   The Board of Commissioners hereby declares that DOG REPELLANT is defined as a spray that will deter a dog from attacking or causing harm to the county employee while at the same time does not cause long-term harm to the dog.
   (C)   The Board of Commissioners requires that certain county employees attempt to make contact with the owner of the dog to ensure the dog is contained prior to visiting the owner's property and only use the dog repellent spray if the dog is displaying aggressive behavior that could threaten the safety of the county employee.
