§ 153.108  SIDEWALKS.
   All major subdivisions shall be required to have a paved sidewalk installed on at least one side of the street.
   (A)   Required improvements.
      (1)   Sidewalks shall be included within the dedicated, unpaved portions of the right-of-way of all streets within the subdivision.
      (2)   Concrete curbs shall be installed as required in Table 4-1 above or required at the discretion of the Commission.
      (3)   All sidewalk widths and setbacks shall be as required in Table 4-1 above. Any sidewalk that requires a setback from the road shall have a grassed or landscaped median strip between them.
      (4)   All sidewalks installed shall have ramps that are handicap accessible.
      (5)   Concrete shall be four-inch by four-inch minimum on four inches of stone or asphalt shall be three inches by six foot minimum on six inches of stone.
   (B)   Pedestrian access. In order to facilitate pedestrian access from the street to schools, parks, playgrounds or other nearby streets, the Commission may require perpetual unobstructed easements. Such easements shall be indicated on both the preliminary and final plats.
