§ 150.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided, shall be subject to the provisions of § 10.99.
   (B)   For violations of § 150.01:
      (1)   First offense. Upon an individual’s first offense of not obtaining a permit or improper permit usage, the individual shall be given 30 calendar days to obtain the proper permit. The Commission Executive Director shall make a follow up inspection to the property after 15 calendar days. No further work shall take place until a proper permit is obtained.
      (2)   Second offense. Upon an individual’s second offense of not obtaining a permit or improper permit usage, whether the offense involves the same or different property as the first offense, the Commission may file with the appropriate court a motion to order a permit or for a cease work order.  All court expenses shall be paid by the property owner.
   (C)   Any owner of a dwelling unit, dwelling, apartment house or lodging house found to be in violation of § 150.03 may be fined in a sum as set by the Board and/or Council from time to time.
   (D)   Any person, firm or corporation owning or occupying a building who shall fail to number such building or who shall fail to maintain the number of such building as provided in § 150.04 shall be deemed to have violated the provisions of § 150.04 and may be fined a sum as set by the Board and/or Council from time to time for each day’s violation.
   (E)   Any person, firm or corporation that violates any of the provisions of §§ 150.15 through 150.34, or performs any act prohibited therein, or fails to perform any duty lawfully enjoined, within the time prescribed by the Building Commissioner, or fails, neglects or refuses to obey any lawful order given by the Building Commissioner in connection with the provisions of those section, commits a Class C ordinance violation. Each day such a violation is committed, or permitted to continue by the violator, constitutes a separate Class C ordinance violation.
