(A) Penalties for violations.
(1) The following schedule of penalties shall apply for violations of this chapter:
(a) Class A violation: Fine of up to $500.
(b) Class B violation: Fine of up to $150.
(c) Class C violation: Fine of up to $75.
(2) In addition to the forgoing fines, a person who violates this chapter shall be subject to any other penalties; judgements and liabilities authorized by an ordinance of the county, a statute of the State of Indiana, or both.
(B) Penalties for lmpoundment of domestic animals.
(1) Day one at facility:
(a) $20.
(b) After hours: $40.
(2) Every day after:
(a) $5 a day for care.
(3) In addition to the foregoing penalties for impoundment, a person who violates this chapter shall be required to pay any ordinance violations before any reclaim process.
(C) Penalties for lmpoundment of livestock animals.
(1) Day one at facility:
(a) $100.
(b) After hours: $150.
(2) Every day after:
(a) $10 a day for care.
(3) In addition to the foregoing penalties for impoundment, a person who violates this chapter shall be required to pay any ordinance violations before any reclaim process.
