Any dog which is not claimed as provided in this subchapter after seven days of impounding may be sold to anyone desiring to purchase the animal. The Animal Control Officer shall determine the price, which shall reflect the breed of dog and the impoundment cost. Such funds shall be placed in the General Fund of the city. Any animal which is not claimed by the owner or sold shall be euthanized and buried at the direction of the pound master.
